Refund Policy

Effective Date: September 6, 2025

At DOSES Design & Decor, every product and service is carefully curated and customized to meet your needs. Please review our refund policy below before placing an order or booking a service.

1. Product Purchases

Pillows, Pillow Sets, and Art

  • All products are final sale unless defective or damaged upon arrival.

  • Claims for damaged or defective items must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product and packaging.

  • If approved, we will provide a replacement or store credit. Refunds are issued only in cases where a replacement is not available.

  • Normal variations in texture, color, or natural materials are not considered defects.

 

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated.

2. Services

Consultations

  • Consultation fees ($75 for initial video consultation) are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled once at no additional charge.

 

Interior Design Services

  • Deposits for design services are non-refundable, as they secure time and resources.

  • If a client cancels after work has begun, payment is due for services rendered up to the date of cancellation.

  • Projects that are forfeited after signing remain billable at the agreed rate, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

3. Large Projects & Custom Work

  • For large construction projects, custom builds, fireplaces, or trim/millwork, payments are tied to agreed milestones.

  • Refunds are not provided for completed stages of work.

  • If materials are ordered on your behalf, those costs are non-refundable once processing begins.

4. Travel Fees

  • The travel fee of $250 for projects outside the five boroughs but within the Tri-State area is non-refundable.

  • Additional travel expenses for projects outside this region will be billed as agreed and are also non-refundable.

5. How to Request a Refund or Credit

To request a refund or replacement for a product, please contact us at hello@dosesdd.com within the timeframe noted above. Include your order number, description of the issue, and supporting photos if applicable.

6. Policy Updates

DOSES Design & Decor reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
